General Scriptures:
Psalms 12:1 Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the
faithful fail from among the children of men.
Psalms 80:1-19
1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest
Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the
cherubims, shine forth.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up
thy strength, and come and save us.
3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to
shine; and we shall be saved.
4 O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry
against the prayer of thy people?
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and
givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and
our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face
to shine; and we shall be saved.
8 Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast
cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9 Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause
it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it,
and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her
branches unto the river.
12 Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so
that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the
wild beast of the field doth devour it.
14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look
down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath
planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they
perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand,
upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us,
and we will call upon thy name.
19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy
face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Isaiah 1:2-4
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath
spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they
have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the
ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people
doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with
iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters:
they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One
of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Isaiah 1:5-27
5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will
revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole
heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head
there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound
up, neither mollified with ointment.
7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned
with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence,
and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in
a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a
besieged city.
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very
small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should
have been like unto Gomorrah.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom;
give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your
sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt
offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight
not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath
required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an
abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling
of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the
solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul
hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide
mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will
not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of
your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the
oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the
LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white
as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as
wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the
good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured
with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it
was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now
murderers.
22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with
water:
23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of
thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after
rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the
cause of the widow come unto them.
24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the
mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine
adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely
purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first,
and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou
shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful
city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her
converts with righteousness.
Isaiah 17 and 43
Jeremiah 2:3, 8 Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the
firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall
offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD. The
priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle
the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against
me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after
things that do not profit.

Jeremiah 9:1-3 Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a
fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the
slain of the daughter of my people! Oh that I had in the
wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might
leave my people, and go from them! for they be all
adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. And they bend
their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not
valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from
evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 10:19-22 Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is
grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear
it. My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken:
my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is
none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my
curtains. For the pastors are become brutish, and have not
sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all
their flocks shall be scattered. Behold, the noise of the
bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north
country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of
dragons.

Amos Chapter 6
1 Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in
the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the
nations, to whom the house of Israel came!
2 Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye
to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the
Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their
border greater than your border?
3 Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the
seat of violence to come near;
4 That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves
upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and
the calves out of the midst of the stall;
5 That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to
themselves instruments of musick, like David;
6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves
with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the
affliction of Joseph.
7 Therefore now shall they go captive with the first
that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched
themselves shall be removed.
8 The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD
the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate
his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all
that is therein.
9 And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men
in one house, that they shall die.
10 And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that
burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and
shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is
there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he
say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the
name of the LORD.
11 For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will
smite the great house with breaches, and the little house
with clefts.
12 Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow
there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and
the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:
13 Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say,
Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?
14 But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation,
O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they
shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the
river of the wilderness.

Mark 12

Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a
fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought
fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser
of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking
fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him,
Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about
it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not,
then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Revelation 2:1-6 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus
write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in
his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden
candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy
patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil:
and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and
are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast
patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not
fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because
thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from
whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works;
or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy
candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this
thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans,
which I also hate.
Revelation 2:12-25
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos
write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with
two edges;
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest,
even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name,
and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein
Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you,
where Satan dwelleth.
14 But I have a few things against thee,
because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of
Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the
children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and
to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the
doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee
quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my
mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will
I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white
stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man
knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira
write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes
like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service,
and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to
be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against
thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which
calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my
servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed
unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her
fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them
that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except
they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and
all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the
reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you
according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in
Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have
not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put
upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast
till I come.
Revelation 3:1-20
1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis
write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of
God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a
name that thou livest, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which
remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy
works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and
heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt
not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt
not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which
have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me
in white: for they are worthy.
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed
in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of
the book of life, but I will confess his name before my
Father, and before his angels.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit saith unto the churches.
7 And to the angel of the church in
Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he
that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth,
and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before
thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a
little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied
my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of
Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie;
behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my
patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,
which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell
upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which
thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in
the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I
will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the
city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down
out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new
name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit saith unto the churches.
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful
and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold
nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and
increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest
not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and
blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in
the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that
thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness
do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that
thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be
zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if
any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to
him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
