SUBJECT:   Elect and Very Elect

QUESTION:  What is the difference between these two?  Also, what is the difference between the “called” and the “chosen”?

ANSWER:

Called:  [Matthew 22:14 (Read verses 1-14); Matthew 20:16 and Revelation 17:14] People who have their minds open to the truth and who He leads to repentance, baptism, and to the receiving of the Holy Spirit.  The called are in the Salvation Process.

Chosen:  Called ones who remain steadfast to the end.  Just because you are called does not mean you will stay in the call.  You become "chosen" at that moment of judgment and are turned to spirit.

Elect:  [Isaiah 45:4] Physical Israel

Very Elect:  [Matthew 24:24] Those with the Holy Spirit of God and who are remaining steadfast in the faith until natural death or the return to Jesus Christ.
