How We Plan and Organize the Feast of Tabernacles at Tahoe

The purpose of this document is to simply explain how Chris Cumming, a minister in the ICG plans and organizes a Feast of Tabernacles.  It does not have, as its purpose, the encouragement, urging or influencing of how you organize and run yours.  If you adopt our ideas, fine, but there is no obligation you do so.  There is no official church decree on how raffles will be planned or organized.  How it is done at the various Feast sites is the sole responsibility of the minister who is acting as Feast elder for his assigned Feast site.

If you are a veteran Feast Planner, we would love to have your input, suggestions and ideas.

For the past several years, I have begun my planning with what I call a Feast Planning Grid.  It has three columns with three simple subject headings---Subject, Notes, and Further Action.  The table below is an empty template.  It covers most of the areas of Planning for a Feast.  Rather than explain each one, I have provided the completed Planning grid for Tahoe/Kings Beach being used this year.
