A congregation,
not an institution.

The St. Louis Church of God is part of the Intercontinental Church of God and is affiliated with the Garner Ted Armstrong Evangelistic Association. We are a small congregation that has gathered on the Sabbath in this city for many years.

Services are straightforward: singing, a message drawn from scripture, and time afterward to talk. There is no dress code, no membership process to sit through, and no collection expected of a visitor. If you would rather listen before you visit, every recent message is posted in the archive.

The seven annual Holy Days are observed alongside the weekly Sabbath. Passover is kept the evening before, at sundown.

04  —  The city

Two hundred and sixty years
at the confluence.

A fur-trading post laid out in 1764 near where the Missouri meets the Mississippi. Three flags in a single day in 1803. The jumping-off point for Lewis and Clark, a World's Fair, an Olympic Games, and the stainless curve that has stood over the riverfront since 1965.
